Don't Let Me Fall: We Go Live in 5!

Despite the speculation and pissed off fans the popular series The Game has been renewed for another season starting in January 2012 featuring 22 episodes. I am happy to know that but at the same time I hope that is going to be the demise of the show. Who the hell waits to renew another season for another year? Could it be because Tia Hardrict is pregnant in real life? Why don't they just write that into the script? As much I love the show I was not pleased with the writing style  this season I wanted to give up on the show after first 2 episodes this seasons but I continued to watch. I am hooked for the shock factor but I want the laugh factor to be included from now on.

RANTING SESSION

It would be nice to see Malik  Wright restore his life and his career. As for Derwin and Melanie more money, more problems because it does in deed change people. Tasha Mack was sassy, smart, and strong in the first three seasons and by Season 4 she became an ass kissing, at times timid cougar type of woman I really do not like that by the end of the season some of the old Tasha we know and love came back. As much as I hated how Jason treated Kelly they should get back together because they are lost without one another. Now you know this rant wouldn't be complete without me going  in on the whole Janay and Derwin fiasco.

On the Mo'Nique show the host Mo'Nique had an interview with the cast of The Game and she spoke to them as if they were in character; and she praised Gabrielle Dennis "Janay Brice" on the show for not backing down from Derwin and Melanie. Umm no deal if that character represents alot of single mothers out there then ladies I'm sorry but you are damn fools and I have no respect for you. This season we saw Janay V Melanie and for awhile Janay was winning she tried to disrupt Derwin and Melanie's marriage unforuntately she had a little bit of leverage when the DNA results were wrong after swiped DJ aka Derwin Jr. But like I said that baby still isn't his. If you read a previous post then you would understand my theory. It would be nice to see Rick Fox come back Terrence J was not a good addition to the cast and he is not cute. Keep it locked because I do want to see what happens next season.

His Music Is A Sure Thing

All I want is you

All I want is you (now)

All I want is you now

Now that you’re gone, gone, gone

Lyrics from the 2010 R&B sensational  hit song "All I Want is You"singer/songwriter Miguel Jontel and  has not skipped a beat since that song hit the airwaves. His voice is so smooth and he is very easy on the eyes. Miguel's second single "Sure Thing" is doing very well and his album is exactly what the R&B game needs right now. I say this because many aristst that I have loved all my life are changing for the worst techno, too commerical pop, auto-tune every I look someone is just pressing buttons I don't give a damn what anyone says that is not talent or creative. Miguel is staying in his own lane by being himself and writing songs for the likes of Usher, Asher Roth and Musiq Soulchild just to name a few.

Who is Miguel Jontel? Miguel Jontel Pimentel was born in San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. He is one of two sons born to a Mexican father and African American mother. Miguel's parents divorced when he was eight years old and he began pursuing a career in music at the age of 13. Miguel cites Prince, David Bowie, Donny Hathaway, Jimi Hendrix, Freddie Mercury, Phil Collins, Notorious B.I.G.,  and Kanye West as well as the band Queen as his primary musical influences he admires Stevie Wonder also.

Miguel will take this industry by storm as long he stays true to himself and his passion, a great team behind him, and loyal fans and he should be good to go. If you haven't bought the album yet please do it will be worth your money I promise.

New Decade, New Rules..... Who Could It Be Now?

In 1996 the film Scream hit the silverscreen nationwide and people loved it I was only 5 years at the time although I saw the movie with the supervision of my older cousins. It did scare me but I enjoyed the supsense and I watched Scream 2, and Scream 3, but now it's 2011 and people came back for more because Scream 4 hit the silvercreen nationwide 16 years since the first film and 11 years after the last film.

What Made Us Fall In Love With Scream? Scream was notable in the genre for casting already established and successful actors which was considered to have helped it find a wider audience including a significant female viewership.

Members of the Cast in Scream 1996

Scream was credited with revitalizing the horror genre in the 1990s, which was considered to be almost dead following an influx of straight-to-DVD titles and numerous sequels to established horror franchises of the 70s and 80s which were drawing both decreasing financial and critical success, by recognizing and exploiting the cliché that films in the genre had become reliant upon.

After 2 Sequels What's Going On? Sidney Prescott returns home to promote her book and on the fifteenth anniversary of the Woodsboro massacure by Billy Loomis and Stu Macher another group of students are attacked by a new Ghostface. Thats all I know for now I have heard some good reviews about the movie and some negative reviews. Obviously it will never be a great as the first film but I will say I still want to see Scream 4. It is one of my favorite movie franchises.

Khole' and Lamar: Making It Work

Reality television star, socialite, and so far successful business woman and entrepreneur Khole' Kardashian tied the knot with Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom two years ago. Many people had a warped opinion about their relationship and quick marriage. I admit I was a little doubtful myself but I realized warped opinions don't matter if the two people involved are really in love and that is beautiful. Khole' and Lamar now have a reality show on E! titled none other than Khole' and Lamar. So far I really enjoy the show because Khole' is a good wife and Lamar is a good husband.

Last night's episode was intense but I enjoyed it because it showed me how much Khole' loves Lamar and I saw how people take advantage of Lamar because of his wealth. We saw Khole' and Lamar have a huge disagreement but it was an eye opener.

Khloe remains frustrated that Odom's best friend and business partner, Jamie, is always hanging out at their loft, believes Odom is too nice to him and that their product line, Rich Soil, isn't run as well to Khloe's liking. So Khloe changes the locks and tells Jamie to stop hanging out with Lamar. After Jamie pulls the "I'm his friend" argument and Khloe responds with the "He's my husband card," Jamie mentions his 20-year friendship with Lamar and remarks on how the two have only been married for a year. Before closing the door in her face, Jamie tells Khloe to "grow up," to which Khloe tells Jamie to do the same.

"Lamar is too in love with all of his friends and Lamar feels like if he doesn’t, there not going to be his friends that's what happened in the past," Khloe tells directly to Odom as to why she changed the locks.

Lamar Odom simply glared at her, responding: "What kind of preschool s*** is that?.'"

I really am rooting for Khole' and Lamar I love their chemistry that they share its not fabricated at all. I also admire how strong their loyalty to one another is. It is so cool to watch them Khole' is sassy and Lamar and cool, calm, and collected that is what makes their dynamic intriguing to watch. Much love to Khole' and Lamar. I don't blame Khole' for what she did she is Lamar's wife and she is the first priority in his life that needs to be honored and respected.

Let's Do It Again!!!!! The Hangover 2

Stu Price: " Here's something I would like to remind you two of: our best friend Doug is probably face down in a ditch right now with a meth head butt-fucking his corpse!
Alan Garner: "That's highly unlikely."

On June 5, 2009 it was the day after I graduated from high school and I began my adult life and my summer by seeing much anticipated comedy film "The Hangover." Me and my friends made a pact that we would all see the film and I loved every minute of it. I am so happy to know that there will a sequel and you can feel it on May 26, 2011 that will be Memorial Day weekend. My next post shows the official trailer enjoy and hold on until May 26, 2011.

She Did That!

In the Fall of 2000 I was in the fourth grade and I remember sneaking to watch the show "Girlfriends" my mom told me I was too young to hear and understand the dialogue. Okay now that is 2011 I understand why she said that but eventually I would watch the show  with my mom every Monday. The show has been called an African-American woman's version of Sex and The City and I agree. The creator of this series and its spin-off The Game is none other than Mara Brock Akil.
What Has Mara Brock Akil Done? The work speaks for itself

Cast of Girlfriends

Girlfriends was the longest-running live-action sitcom on network television at the time, as well as one of the highest-rated scripted shows on television among African American adults and women 18-34, including its spin-off The Game.

The final episode aired on February 11, 2008. The theme song to Girlfriends is sung by R&B musician Angie Stone. The show was created by Mara Brock Akil and produced by Kelsey Grammer and CBS Paramount Network Television (Paramount Network Television for the first six seasons).

Rainbow Friendly.... So You Say

About two years a close friend friend of mine was reciting these lyrics "Dicks over the Chicks is the slogan" I asked what the hell are you listening to and what rapper is this. Well his name is Bry'Nt for the most part he is cute I mean I almost cried knowing this guy is gay that is how hot he is. He does deliever good rap lyrics, talent, and creativity. For years people have said that hip-hop has been always been homophobic personally I disagree. I think it began just talking about parties, clothes, break dancing and things young people did to pass free time by having fun at the same time.  Although I am not saying homophobia doesn't exsist in the hip-hop community with some rappers and other people. But enough about that who is Bry'Nt?

Who is Bry'Nt? Bry’Nt grew an early interest in music growing up in Hartford, CT, and from this interest grew a passion. He and a couple of friends started a rap group called 3rd Degree. Although he was extremely expressive with his music, Bry’Nt was not comfortable with his sexuality at this point in his life. His sexuality remained a secret from his family, his friends, his group, and most importantly, his mother. It was at age 15 that Bry’Nt came to accept his sexuality, and this is where his music took a turn. Feeling that the images of the homosexual lifestyle in Hip-Hop music were poor, he wanted to portray a realistic one. With that he felt he needed to make music that was more “rainbow-friendly,” (a pun he developed to describe his style of music). Bry’Nt feels that a rapper’s sexuality shouldn’t define them, or put them in a separate category musically.

Bry’Nt began his solo career with the release of his controversial mixtapes “Porn Star” (2008) and “Porn Star II: The Director’s Cut” (2009). He would then go on to be featured on a series of collaborative efforts with many artists. He has also had the privilege to perform nationally and internationally opening for artists such as Fantasia, Teairra Mari, RuPaul, and DJ Class. From interviews on Sirius Satellite Radio with DJ Kay Slay and Angela Yee, features in a number of magazines including Spin, Bleu, and Kontrol Magazine, having his own brand of condoms, starring in the independent film "Finding Me: Truth", and being an OUTMusic Award nominee, Bry’Nt has put himself at the forefront of an underground movement known as “Out Hip-Hop;” which consists of openly gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual  artists.

Still About the Music! Bry’Nt has been hard at work trying to deliver to his fans his long-awaited EP “Bry’Nt Park." You were given an introduction to the lyrical mastermind with his first two mix tapes, “Porn Star” and “Porn Star II: The Director’s Cut.” The wait is over! Get ready for the release of “Bry’Nt Park” in 2011.

My Final Thoughts: Truth to be told I don't give a damn about anyone being a gay rapper and I not opposed to any individual expressing themselves. It is not bringing me any harm so why do some heterosexual rappers have an issue with gay rappers. Let's keep it real some of these guys are undercover gays and they feel threatened and insecure because there are openly gay people who are willing to spit mad flows and drop hot tracks. And then I think some other rappers feel like "gay culture" is becoming more popular and it messes with their money and lifestyle because at the end of the day everybody is trying to eat and pay the bills. I could understand that fear but one shouldn't be rude or hate on anybody. If you don't like the music just don't listen to it and the only thing that can be judged is his talent which he does have. There is only one Bry'Nt song I will listen to and enjoy its called " Hello Goodbye" the beat being used is  from Junior Mafia's 96 hit " Get Money aka Fuck Ni**az Get Money." It sounds like something I would say to a guy that's why I like that song but I can't handle the rest of his music but I tried to have an open mind that is why I wrote this post.

Bry'Nt

I will never understand what its like to be apart of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, and Transgender) Community because I am a heterosexual woman but I do believe in treating other people like human beings because that is what they are. As for the "Rainbow" thing honestly I think the rainbow does not and should not have anything to do with any one's sexuality because it only helps create division and more conflict.  On the flip side Bry'Nt might not just have to face a challenge from heterosexual rappers it might be other members of the gay male community. Because not all men fit overly masculine thug bill yet not all gay men are extremely feminine trust me from what I have seen just be cool and let them break it down to you.

Oops I Said On My.....

"Oops I said on my dick but since we talking about my dick all you haters can say hi to it I'm done" a  lyrical rap line featured in Chris Brown's hit song "Look At Me Now." Chris Brown has been under a lot of fire in the media once again. Recently Chris Brown did an interview on GMA (Good Morning America) and he was also slated to perform. He became annoyed and angry when he was repeatedly asked about the domestic violence incident that occurred two years ago with his then girlfriend Rhianna. After the interview was over Chris broke the window in his dressing room by throwing a chair out of it and getting upset with the television producer. Anchor Robin Roberts invited Chris back on the show at anytime if he wants to return.

More Drama! Nude photos of Chris were leaked on the Internet, more photos of ex-girlfriend Rhianna after the attack were released, and a salty embracing backstage at Dancing With the Stars."As a victim of domestic violence, I don't agree with him coming on the show, but it's out of my control," Cheryl Burke said shortly after Brown's performance.

Did It On Em! Despite of all of that Chris' new album F.A.M.E. debuted at 1 on the Billboard Charts he hasn't seen large album sales numbers since his sophomore release four years ago Exclusive. Honestly I am tired of Chris Brown being judged and I think it is so ironic how the world wants to continue to punish a young black man over and over for his mistakes. Chris does  not need to keep apologizing for what happened just brush off all the negative energy. When ish hits the fan you learn who your real friends and fans are. I have listened to the album there are only like 2 songs I don't like so its a good look in my book.

#Just Saying
Just because I have a short haircut and a athletic body that does not make me gay or less attractive so stop asking and assuming.
Also just because some of my friends are gay that does not make me gay I am just a young woman who respects all people and I don't pass judgement.
Just because I am dark skinned it does not mean I hate light skinned people.
Just because I am attracted to men outside my race it does not mean I dislike Black men.
I don't know why I am still single if I knew the answer I wouldn't be.
For the record I know my self-worth I am aware that Mr. Right does not want his textbooks used.
I am only seem harsh simply because I am just that sensitive.
Everyone does not deserve the chance to see my vulnerable side.
I say what I mean and mean what I say.
I am going to be this way today, tommorrow, and the day after.
